Scope and content
Leonard Evetts' project file relating to the design and execution of a window in the north wall of nave (depicting St Christopher) at St Andrew’s Church, Corbridge, Northumberland, installed in 1976-77. The main file contains detailed drawings of the design and commission correspondence. There is also one large drawing of proposed candlesticks for the sanctuary, housed separately due to its size.
Evetts had previously designed a memorial sanctuary lamp, 1949-50 and a verger’s staff, 1958-59, which are not represented in this file.
