Digital Object ID: TF-2021-11-18-007-A. A large collection of 3d and CAD working drawings. These working drawings focus on options for structural and internal details of the atrium in phase one of the Royal Institution project, along with atrium model, plots and precedent research. There are also working drawings issued in emails from Farrells. There are also images of the lift study, a large set of Stage E working drawings with series references RI-E-01 to RE-E-95. There are drawings and images featuring demolition works, lighting options with Equation, and toilet design precedents from other cultural institutions. There is also some press-release material regarding the atrium. Material originally housed on 1-CD-R carrier.
Appraisal, destruction and scheduling
File formats normalised in line with Newcastle University Library's digital preservation policy. .bmp, .gif, .psd, .tif, .wmf created files were migrated to .jpg access formats between October - November 2025. .mov created formats were migrated to .mp4 on 30th May 2025. .doc, .htm, .ppt, .xls created formats were migrated to .pdf. between 13-15th May 2025. .eps created formats were unable to be migrated and item level apprisal concluded no further action required due to file content duplication in other formats. .p65 created formats were unable to be migrated with current digital preservation resources.
