Digital Object ID: TF-2021-11-18-003-A. Digital images focus on site photographs of the 'Sad Stair.' There photographs contained within a folder called 'others' that focus on site visits over April 2004 and contain images of other architectural design features within the Royal Institution. These images include: The Atrium, roof structures, Sad Stair, Dewar laboratory and Faraday Lecture Theatre along with contemporary site photographs. Images display these features prior to renovation work. Initially housed on 1 CD-R carrier.
Appraisal, destruction and scheduling
File formats normalised in line with Newcastle University Library's digital preservation policy. .p65 created files were unable to be migrated to alternative formats and item level file appraisal concluded that no further action was required for these files based upon duplicated content already present within the other digital objects. File appraisal also identified .psd created files which were not migrated into stable non-proprietary formats due to duplicated content already present within the digital object. A digital archivist can advise further.
