Digital images include pre-renovation and progress shots of the following internal spaces: Dewar Laboratory, Faraday Museum, Exhibition Corridor, Atrium, Council Room, Offices, Reception Area, Squid Room, Café, Grand Entrance, Conversation Room, Stores and Restaurants. Digital items originally housed on 1 CD-R carrier.
Appraisal, destruction and scheduling
File formats normalised in line with Newcastle University Library's digital preservation policy. .p65 created files were unable to be migrated to alternative formats and item level file appraisal concluded that no further action was required for these files based upon duplicated content already present within the other digital objects. File appraisal also identified .psd created files which were not migrated into stable non-proprietary formats due to duplicated content already present within the digital object. A digital archivist can advise further.
