Appraisal, destruction and scheduling

File formats were normalised in line with Newcastle University Library's digital preservation policy. Folders were unzipped in February 2025 and tif files were migrated to jpeg access versions in November 2025. As of April 2026, the following files in .dxf, .hln, .psd were unable to be migrated to access formats using available resources. There is also an amount of duplicated file content across these formats so further migration may not be required in future.
