Appraisal, destruction and scheduling
(.TIF) files were migrated to (.jpeg) formats. Pre existing jpeg formats were normalised into both access and preservation copies. File content duplication across formats was assessed and the most stable format selected for supported retention. All appraisal decisions were made in accordance with Newcastle University's digital preservation policy.
