Consists of a letter to Thomas Brown and his family from Herbert Emery from France. He writes to thank them for letters he has received, to congratulate Mr Brown's daughter Hazel on her typewriting and to inform them that one of the Sergeant's in his division has won the Military Medal. Also contains a slip of paper which states that 'this letter is delayed owing to the address not being in accordance with orders'.
