Letter dated 6 Jan 1873 written at 16 George Street, Hanover Square, London to Christie Esq of 32 Dorset Square. Fergusson enquires about the 'Murchison Testimonial'. Informs Christie that Lady Burdett Coutts would like to become a signatory of an address and would likely be willing to make a financial contribution. Letter dated 8 Jun 1875 written at 16 George Street, Hanover Square, London to an unnamed recipient. Fergusson expresses gratitude that he is 'thought of'. The letter is mounted on paper with a photographic card of Fergusson, signed by the subject.
