There is correspondence from Tate Gallery Publication regarding artwork application and reproduction for The Gallery of H.M.S Calcutta by the artist Tissot. There is a note from George Charlton regarding the blurb for the publication, where the blurb is attached with several poems. A postcard wishing George Charlton a happy birthday and two photographs in an envelope are also included.

Consists of correspondence between Harry Clifton, Andrew McAllister and Neil Astley regarding the cover artwork. Attached is an artwork advice note, several photocopied images and a colour map postcard to be used on the front cover. Also included is a chapter from the collection titled "Available Air: Irish Contemporary Poetry, 1975-1985". There is correspondence between Neil Astley and Harry Clifton regarding "Night Train Through the Brenner" which is not published by Bloodaxe.

There are several letters regarding the art involved with the publication, including letters to and from Gretchen Albrecht and Bluecoats in Liverpool. There are some of Gretchen Albrechts art leaflets and cover mock-ups. Letters to the Printers, Unwin Brothers are also attached.

There are photocopies of the publication blurb and a postcard from Neil Astley to Paul Hyland. Also included is a printout of a collection of poems sectioned with the title "The Next Bit" which has "old version" and a cross on the top right corner of several poems. This publication title was not published. In addition, there is a photocopied printout of several poems to be included in the publication.
