Consists of a correspondence regarding the publication process, there are several submissions of small amounts of new poems which have built up to make the full collection. There is also correspondence regarding the cover image and publicity work. The CD holds two word documents that are the blurb and collection and two JPEGS that are photographs of the author.

Consists of final typescripts and photocopies of the publication, with correspondence regarding this between Neil Astley and Stewart Conn. There are letters from well known Scottish poets which Stewart Conn has contacted regarding the publication. There is also a typescript titled "New Poems" which is part of "The Luncheon of the Boating Party". Neil Astley has contacted "The Late show" regarding the "The Luncheon of the Boating Party" publication.

Consists of correspondence between Neil Astley and Ian Duhig regarding general correspondence and advice surrounding the collection and decisions surrounding its publication. Within the letters there are comical exchanges between Neil Astley and Ian Duhig whilst explaining decisions behind the collection. There is a more serious letter explaining to Ian Duhig that there was a slip-up with administration and that he did not receive the Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Included is a letter with a list of corrections to be made to a proof that was sent. There are several postcards regarding the dedication and acknowledgements. There is correspondence with Jane Lewis asking permission to use her artwork titled the "Singer" for the front cover and with Brendan Kennelly regarding the artwork.
