Two photocopied newspaper articles concerning RBD involvement with a Cairo medical school and the South Shields Infirmary extention

Photocopy of an unidentified newspaper article dated 1921 in which Messrs Cackett and Burns Dick have been selected as one of the final six designs to build a hospital and medical school near Cairo. With a photocopy of another unidentified newspaper article on the subject of the appointment of Messrs Cackett, Burns Dick and McKellar as the architects to complete the South Shields infirmary extension scheme. This copy of the original was created 1991.

It is not known when the text was written, although it is likely to have been after 1939. Including images of the laying of the foundation stone of The Wedge on 7th January 1935, annotated with the date 15 March 1991 (possibly indicating when the photographs were photocopied).
