The main file relates to the refurnishing of the baptistry in St Giles' Church, Durham, completed in 1965. The project included the installation of new flooring, two oak seats, a cupboard, the lighting design, the re-setting of the font and the re-leading of one window. The documents in this file cover the date range 1964-1965. The file includes sketches, detailed designs and commission correspondence.
There is a second file which contains a design for a cross, design dated 1961, cross installed 1962.

The Manners memorial window in the south wall of the nave was installed in 1968 and the Hamilton memorial window in the south wall of the nave by the pulpit was installed in 1974. There is also correspondence and design work 1993-1994 relating to an alteration to the Manners window inscription to remember Anne Manners who died in 1991.
