In 1989 Terry Farrell was asked to design substantial alterations to the South Bank Centre site, mostly involving the walkways and external stairs. This correspondence file is largely concerned with ongoing consultation and planning updates, as well as some related discussion around potential plans for plans for other parts of the South Bank Centre complex, including the Hayward Gallery, Purcell Room and Queen Elizabeth Hall.
