Card

Consists of a card with an image of a statue, the poem "Crossing the Snow-Line" is printed on the inside.

Card featuring a watercolour painting of The Arches, College Road, Terry Farrall, 1958.

This christmas card message is dated 1971, but was filed with Sir Terry Farrell's undergraduate work. The original painting has therefore been presumed to date 1956-1961.

It is possible that this is a painting of The Arches at Newcastle University, dating from the late 1950s and featuring buildings on either side of the arches which have since been demolished.

Card received by Sir Liam from the Northern and Yorkshire Regional Office on his appointment as Chief Medical Officer

Consists of card depicting a characterture of Sir Liam in a Newcastle United Football Club strip, of which Sir Liam was a supporter, with the caption Unfortunately, our number 1 target has just signed for CMO's position - I suppose Ruud Gullit will have to do.
