Replicas of the original Swan Lamp, as demonstrated at the Lit and Phil Library in Newcastle in 1880. One has a burnt out carbon filament, but the other is in good complete condition. created at Newcastle University by Brian Smith and departmental technicians to mark the centenary of the light bulb.

Consists of a watercolour sketch of two smartly dressed men talking. Caption reads: Friend - "You speak in such high terms of Miss Jones - Brown - I wonder why you don’t propose". Brown - "Humph! I did ask for her hand - an-er-er confound it - her Father - er - gave me his foot!"
Two portraits mounted on card with covers. One was produced by the Lafayette company, the other by Kee Coleman of San Fransisco.

Photocopy of an unidentified newspaper article dated 1921 in which Messrs Cackett and Burns Dick have been selected as one of the final six designs to build a hospital and medical school near Cairo. With a photocopy of another unidentified newspaper article on the subject of the appointment of Messrs Cackett, Burns Dick and McKellar as the architects to complete the South Shields infirmary extension scheme. This copy of the original was created 1991.
