Includes photographs of buildings damaged by bombing, memorials and graves, and reunion events after World War I. Maps covering areas of France, Germany and Austria, some of which show the position of trenches in World War I. Memorabilia relating to World War I including newspaper clippings, posters and documents. Publications including journals and comics published during World War I, as well as historical and creative works relating to, and published after, World War I.

Bamburgh Shipping Company Funnel Insignia.

This file contains one photograph of the funnel insignia of a ship from the 'Bamburgh Shipping Company' 1958-1959. The insignia was designed for the company by Leonard Evetts 1958-1959.

The Bamburgh Shipping Company was a subsidiary of the Sheaf Steam Shipping Company which ran ore carriers and bulk carriers in the iron ore trade; all of the ships were given North Northumbrian names. The company operated between 1956 and 1976.
