Dated 9 March with no year, but likely to be after 1871 - the letter is written on War Office headed notepaper and Garnet Wolseley was appointed assistant adjutant-general at the War Office in 1871. It is not clear if the addressee is Eliot Douglas Thomas Yorke or Eliot Constantine Yorke. Signed by creator.
