Campaign Files

During the years covered by this archive, CHE Tyneside actively campaigned on a number of political and social issues. Each campaign file typically contains administrative and correspondence files relating to the particular campaign; any reports, publications or resources produced by the CHE for the campaign; general research in relation to the issue in question; and research monitoring the outcomes of the campaign.

Board Papers and AGM Papers

Founded in 1980, a-n The Artists Information Company is a non-profit-distributing limited company, run by a the a-n Board.

a-n Board determines policy and sets the strategic direction of the organisation. Board members play an active role representing a-n externally as well as monitoring the organisation against its agreed objectives and targets. Board members typically serve a three-year term and meet a minimum of four times a year.

Includes a document on Thomas Baker Brown's retirement as Chief Clerk in the Town Clerk's Department of Newcastle upon Tyne, and notes, presumably collected by Brown, on his family history.
