Planning file for the Tyne International Festival, a collaboration between The National Garden Fetsival, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear Museum Services and the Arts Council. Includes project information for Antonio Muntadas site specific work titled 'Home - where is the Home?' - a pre-fabcricated structure with sound installation as part of the festival.

TWSA Four Cities Project File, April 1990 - February 1992

A mixed collection of project material for specific installations around Newcastle-upon-Tyne as part of the TWSA festival, September - October 1990. The file is divided into three parts. Two files are prdominantly concerned with Chris Burden's H.M.S Cavalier project consisting of technical general arranagement drawings and correpsondence. There is also a small amount of general TWSA budget and scheduling correspondence. The third part consists of design and planning correspondence for the work of Mona Hatoum.

Project Details: Stefan Gec; High Level Bridge - reformation of soviet submarine material into a series of bells.

Mona Hatoum: Victora Tunnel, Byker - situated electrified chair.

Chris Burden - Hebburn, creation of revised H.M.S Cavalier model, to coincide with the reopening of the ship.

Jana Sterbak; Northumberland Street - illuminated light boxes.

A mixed file that is possibly an accumulation of 2 separate files that have been amalgamated over time. Part one predominantly contains press cuttings and artists profiles about 'Art on the Metro, Bill board Project,' and a 'Public Art on the Metro,' project with features at Cullercoats Station by Cathy de Monchaux. Part two contains mixed promotional material for projects commissioned by the Basement Group, along with Basement Group organisation minutes and objectives. Part three contain press cuttings predominantly about Stefan Gec, and Nathan Coley, along with An Artists Network publication featuring Projects UK.
