Leonard Evetts' project file relating to a number of projects at St Mary’s Church, South Hylton, Sunderland. The files represents the following projects:

File 1 represents the design and execution a two-light window in the nave (in memory of John Dawson), installed 1974-75; File 2 represents two two-light windows in the south wall of the chancel depicting shipping, installed 1977-78; and File 3 represents a two-light window in the south wall of the nave, set in clear glass and installed 1994-95.

The files contain sketches, detailed drawings, photographs and commission correspondence.

File 1 relates to designs for the re-glazing of three clear chancel windows, installed 1968; File 2 relates to the design and execution of the de Stein memorial window in the west wall of the south aisle, depicting St Aidan, installed 1971; File 3 relates to the design and execution of the St Cuthbert memorial window in the west wall of the north aisle of the nave, installed 1987.

A small file relating to St Mary's Church, Greenhithe, Kent. Leonard Evetts designed and executed the west window 1952-53. The project also included the design of a memorial window in replacement for one destroyed in World War II, dedicated to Trevor Hayles who died in the Battle of Jutland, and installed 1953-1954. This second window depicts 'the miraculous draft of fishes'.

The file contains detailed designs of the proposed west window, and photographs of the memorial window.

Leonard Evetts' project file relating to the design and execution of the north transept window in St. Mary's Church, Gateshead, installed 1965. The window has since been destroyed by fire. The file contains sketches and commission correspondence.

A second file seems to relate to a lettering commission relating to a memorial book for the men of the 9th Battalion of the Durham Light Infantry, approximately 1950.
