Transcript to 5th meeting held on 30 June 2005, in which representatives from the General Medical Council (GMC) gave a presentation and held open discussions on revalidation of doctors and Sir Liam presented early findings from the call for ideas document;

Transcript to 6th meeting held on 22 September 2005, in which representatives from a group formed by the Royal College of Physicians named 'Medical Professionalism - Defining and Maintaining Professional Values in Medicine' gave a presentation and held open discussions on how the initiative had progressed, MORI market researchers fed back on a survey commissioned at the 2nd meeting on the public and doctors' attitudes to regulation and revalidation, and discussion of draft report by Professor Judith Alsop, University of Lincoln, and Dr Kathryn Jones, De Montfort University, entitled 'Quality Assurance in Medical Regulation in an International Context';

Transcript to 7th meeting held on 7 November 2005; in which a presentation with discussion was given from a parallel review on regulation in the non-medical health care profession, reports back with discussions from the Sub-Group Meetings into the role of the GMC, A Single Complaints Portal and the Haslam/Kerr Inquiry, and a discussion of a public dispute between a medical practioner and the General Medical Council regarding their negative treatment of him in an unfounded investigation;

Transcript to 8th meeting held on 7 December 2005, in which representatives from the General Medical Council (GMC) gave a presentation and held open discussions on a review of the effectiveness of the GMC's recent reforms, a discussion on the nature of legislation governing medical regulation and a discussion of a report commissioned on competency assurance in other high-risk industries;

And transcript to 9th meeting held on 20 December 2005, in which the group reflected on what they felt had come out of the meetings and research, presented any specific ideas to aid Sir Liam in writing the final report and discussed the MORI additional commissioned survey of hospital doctors' attitudes to regulation and revalidation.
