Consists of 16 maps showing areas of France, Germany, Austria and Belgium which were significant during World War I. Some maps also show the location of prison camps, trenches and battle landmarks.

Newspaper Cuttings

Consists of newspaper clippings predominantly collected by Thomas Baker Brown's father from the home front during World War I. Includes clippings relating to Thomas Baker Brown's Military Medal, as well as the death of his cousin, Archibald Douglas Mason, from wounds in France.

Objects Taken From the Front

Consists of items Thomas Baker Brown collected from the camp and the battlefield while serving as a soldier in France during World War I. Includes programmes of plays produced by the troops as well poppy seeds from the Western Front and a Red Cross armlet.

Official Documentation

Consists of the personal documents issued to Thomas Baker Brown while he served as a soldier in World War I. Includes documents relating to him obtaining rationed food during his leave, his training and his demoblization.

Photographs

Consists of photographs of scenes of France following bombing raids, as well as weaponry. Some are reproductions produced by the Imperial War Museum in South Kensington, London, others are postcards produced in France.
