Typesetting

Consists of photocopies of previous work with added preliminaries, these have been annotated in red ink with setting information.

Typesetting Copy

Consists of a bound copy which is made up of printouts and photographs, which have been stuck in where the images are to appear. The front cover is fully hand written and there are annotations through out the copy in red ink focusing on layout decisions.

Umbra

Consists of a printout of selected poems with a letter from Jane Holland to Neil Astley. She explains these poems are unfinished and she would like his opinion on them. This is the initial submission of Umbra. Various different versions are included.

Uncorrected Proof

Consists of a proof, with two added photocopied pages at the back with the publication reviews on. These are annotated with layout instructions.

Uncorrected Proof Copy

This copy is spiral bound and does not include all images but has annotations to show which images will be placed in the space provided.

Unfinished Chapters

Consists of several printouts of sections from chapters which have been annotated regarding their status. The Roy Fisher chapter is specified on the folder containing this item.
