Two letters from Benjamin Travers (1783-1858), surgeon

Undated letter written at Bruton Street to an unnamed recipient accepting an invitation to dinner. Letter dated Oct 5 to an unnamed recipient requesting corrections to a paper. Also includes a copy of a portrait engraving of Travers by W. Behnes. This is mounted on paper with handwritten biographical notes on Travers.

File also includes correspondence concerning the arrangements for Pybus’ papers and making the recordings, a bibliography of Pybus’ publications and list of membership of societies by Pybus. These recordings were done over 16 sessions.
