Concerning school activities, his academic performances, comments on teaching, extra-curricular activities including sport and debating, and a tour abroad in April 1889, including interest in the Franco-Prussian War.
Also includes comments on peers at school and teachers, and family members, including George Otto Trevelyan and Robert Calverley Trevelyan.
Also includes two letters from H D Watson, primarily concerning cricket.
