Includes notes for a speech on the achievements of the Socialists in Vienna, and a copy of the printed speech. [Thought to have been given in Gateshead on the 11th March and in Glasgow on the 25th March 1934.

One speech is on the Russian Revolution, and was made to the Anglo-Soviet Society on the 17th of November 1946.
The other is on Cambo through the centuries and was made to the Women's Institute on the 20th of January 1947
