Letter dated 20 Jan 1869 written at Kensington, to Doyne C. Bell Esq. Acknowledges reciept of letter and card for the Royal Hospital election in May. Banting explains he has few surviving records of royal funerals but with gather information on Bell's behalf. A pamphlet entitled 'Editorial Remarks on Mr. Banting's Letter to the Public on Corpulance', comprising responses to Banting's advice on lifestyle and weight, published by Harrison and Sons, St Martin's Lane.
