Thompson lists the guests at a dinner party and requests that Hart not make mention of a speech for fear it will offend Mr Gladstone. Letter dated 21 May written at 35 Wimpole Street to Ernest Hart. Suggests Hart may wish to report of Thompson's reciept of the grade of 'Commander' from the King of Belgium and offers to show him his new 'blue and white' china. Letter dated 31 May written at the Aethenium Club to Ernest Hart explaining his reasons for being unable to attend a dinner with Boulayre. Letter dated 4 Dec 1875 written at 35 Wimpole Street to Ernest Hart. Writes in response to letters from Hart and Mr Mackey regarding an illness related to the liver. Suggests treatment. The recipient is likely Ernest Abraham Hart (1865-1898). Medical journalist.
