Scope and content

Photograph albums and scrapbooks containing photographs of and ephemera relating to the Trevelyan family. Also includes content relating to Mary Katharine Trevelyan's relations, the Bell and Richmond families.
Many of the volumes feature annotations, mostly in Mary Katharine Trevelyan's hand.
The main series of numbered volumes is missing a Volume 4, however annotations in Volume 5 state that this was an error made during binding, and there was no Volume 4.

Appraisal, destruction and scheduling

Accruals

System of arrangement

These items feature a numbered chronological series of albums which have been placed first, followed by the albums which do not form part of this series. The Original numbered series did not include a volume 4 due to an error in the binding information. As a result there is some discrepancy between the reference number and the volume number where both appear (for example, volume 5 has the reference CPT/PA/4).
