Biographical history

Brendan Cleary is from Co. Antrim but now lives in Newcastle, where he edited the poetry magazine The Echo Room. He works as a part-time lecturer, performance poet and stand-up comic, and has appeared several times on the Mark Radcliffe Show on Radio One. His last book-length collection, The Irish Card, was published by Bloodaxe in 1993.
