Correspondence files kept by Lady Plowden in relation to her roles within the Pre-school Playgroups Association (PPA). Lady Plowden was involved with her local London branch of the Pre-schools Playgroups Association from the late 1960s, and appears to have kept early files from this period with later correspondence once she had become Chair of the National organisation. Correspondence pre-1972 can therefore be expected to be related to the London branch rather than the national organisation.
Note, there may be some crossover with correspondence file BP 25, which contains more informal correspondence with a large number of individuals and organisations, some of which relate to organisations which Lady Plowden had previously, or would later, hold official positions with.
